It’s a story about an artist who was very much fascinated with the art of motion pictures. Worked as a child actor in a very famous regional television series "Ek daal na pankhi" and started journey from TV to stage acting. After shaping up his skills by directing dramas and performing on stage, he finally entered into his dream of motion pictures in Hollywood.

It's a story about Amit Patel - a writer, a director, an actor and a producer. He started a production company named "50Two Productions" to support independent artists who are lost in their day to day life and available for their art during only their 52 weekends in a year. One vision, not to let an artist lose his/her art, he decided to write, direct and produce projects for all passionate artists.





First short film was written and directed during COVID-19 lockdown in his house by 2 people and project was named as "CORONTINE: Time to stay home". It was dedicated to first responders.

After successful delivery of his first short film, he wrote/directed and acted in his next short film "Crosshair: A tipping point".

He is also performing in 2 full length Hollywood feature films to be released after long film festival circuits - both feature films are currently in preproduction.

"Crosshair: A Tipping Point" - is an amazing suspense Thriller short film written by Amit. It is a true form of art which communicates lot of aspect of life in current days and condition. It was delivered in a form of a story which glues you with the seat till end and climax amazes you with a suspense and a hidden message just as what the name portrays " A Tipping Point". This movie is an experience of a full-length feature film in 7 minutes.

It is thrilling and inspiring to all indie filmmakers showing how a low budget indie filmmaker can also design a story with available resources and can communicate a message to the world.

The film has been submitted to multiple film festivals around the world and it's been not just largely appreciated but also respected by many talented filmmakers and artists around the world. This short has been nominated into 9 film festivals already and expecting many more festivals to come and lift the film off of the ground. It has won total 5 awards till date worldwide.

Italy, France - which is very famous for its art and artists in the world has celebrated the success of this short by giving their valuable time and feedback to the short and also featured an interview of the director of this film. Even UK recently published their review which is jaw dropping explanation of the art that has been written/directed/acted/edited/distributed by only one man - none other than but Amit Patel. He also managed to pull passionate film lovers who helped him to get the vision crafted in this film. He made it feel like the big production team work on this film even though it was truly a low budget indie film.





Story is 7 mins long but it feels like a full-length feature film with suspense and emotions in one short story. It touches psychology of a human nature. The 5-point scale of anxiety has been portrayed very nicely in character's emotions. It sure needs an attention while watching as every scene has some story to tell.

It has the frenetic music that glues audience throughout the film composed by sangeet visharad - Umesh Patel, whom we all know as UK Patel-Singer from US-Canada. We never knew he could compose the music for a film until he was approached by director of the film to add music base with his talent. Umesh provided a solid soundtrack hitting core of the genre of this film which recently won an award from Europe film festival.

This film was approved and accepted by Amazon prime to release on their digital platform in USA & UK. CATP - A short form of "Crosshair: A Tipping Point" is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. If you don’t have prime account, it's also available to rent/buy on Amazon prime.

This film is not just an experience and journey through the emotions of a human life but a journey of an indie filmmaker who has set an example for all the dreamers that anything can be achieved if you focus and work towards it.

Amit has written few more scripts and working on his next short film "Rewin" - which he feels will be the next level on his art project delivery. It’s a story about 15 years of relationships between husband and wife and when that relationship brings surprise one day, how each person would try to re-win the love of other person. Movie is scheduled to be shot in Pennsylvania by end of November 2020 and to be released by Christmas in 2020.

Amit says "Art" is a verb in his creative dictionary, so when you ask if you make films? He would respond back saying, No, "i art films".

Amit has been acting since he was 10 years old and has performed in TV series and many stage acts. He used to direct acts and used to perform on stage during his college days.
